Day 1 | Arrival in Bhubaneswar – War, Faith, and Early Civilisations
Night Halt: Bhubaneswar
Arrival and transfer to hotel.
Visit to the Odisha State Museum—a structured introduction to the region’s archaeology, art, and layered history.
Proceed to Dhauli Shanti Stupa—the turning point of the Kalinga War and Ashoka’s transformation.

Day 2 | Bhubaneswar – Conservation and Natural Systems
Night Halt: Bhubaneswar
Visit to Nandankanan Zoological Park—a rare zoo set within a natural forest, known for conservation-led breeding programmes.
Understanding biodiversity, habitat management, and ethical wildlife practices.

Explore the Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves—rock-cut shelters, inscriptions, and early monastic life.

Evening at leisure.

Day 3 | Bhubaneswar to Konark to Puri – Monumental Vision to Open Coast
Night Halt: Puri
Drive to Konark.
Visit to the Konark Sun Temple—a monumental expression of movement, time, and celestial design.
Continue to Puri.
Evening at the Puri Blue Flag Beach—clean, regulated, and ideal to understand coastal systems, tourism, and beach management. Leisure time at beach.

Day 4 | Puri – Art, Skill, and Coastal Life
Night Halt: Puri
Visit to Raghurajpur Heritage Village—a living repository of pattachitra, palm leaf engraving, and traditional art forms.
Interaction with artisans—understanding discipline, storytelling, and generational skill transfer.
Return to Puri.
Evening along the coast—observing fishing practices, beach economy, and community life.

Day 5 | Puri to Chilika – Water, Wildlife, and Balance
Night Halt: Puri / Chilika
Drive to Chilika Lake.
Boat ride across Chilika Lake—a dynamic lagoon shaped by sea and river systems.
Search for Irrawaddy Dolphin (subject to conditions), observe birdlife (seasonal), and understand fisheries and livelihoods.
Discussion on fragile ecosystems and conservation challenges.

Day 6 | Puri / Bhubaneswar – Art and Departure
Morning sand sculpture workshop along the beach—learning form, technique, and expression from a medium shaped by tide and time.
Transfer to Bhubaneswar or departure from Puri, depending on programme design.

Optional Extensions
Programmes can be further enriched with additional modules, depending on time and objectives. These may include extended Chilika exploration, deeper craft workshops in Raghurajpur, temple architecture trails in Bhubaneswar, conservation-focused sessions, or curated interactions with local communities and artists.

Accommodation
Student accommodation is typically arranged on a triple occupancy basis. Accompanying teachers are provided twin-sharing rooms.

Faculty Support
A limited number of accompanying teachers are hosted on a complimentary basis, depending on overall group size.

Meals
Balanced, hygienic meal plans are arranged with a mix of regional and familiar cuisines suitable for student groups. Detailed menus are shared during the planning stage.

Transport
Travel is arranged using experienced, vetted transport providers suited for student groups.

Safety & Supervision
All programmes are guided and supervised with appropriate safety considerations in place for each location
